California BBS requirements are built in for the LMFT track, with the categories, caps, and deadlines already encoded so you don't have to re-read the handbook every quarter. On the LCSW or LPCC track, or in another state? Generic tracking gives you a clean ledger plus your own custom targets. Export a log when it's time to submit.
Notes in whatever format your site demands
Placement sites rarely agree on anything. Flowers drafts SOAP, BIRP, DAP, intake, and treatment-plan notes, and Student mode adds free-text notes for when your site wants something that fits none of those. Every draft is marked unreviewed until you sign off.
Client data that never leaves your laptop
Transcription and AI run entirely on your machine, so nothing is uploaded to a company you'd have to explain to your supervisor. Student mode also lets you keep clients as initials only, which is often what your site's policy actually requires.

You're accountable for their documentation. Here are the answers to the questions that actually matter, stated plainly.
The AI never signs anything
Every generated note is flagged as an unreviewed draft until your supervisee approves it, and editing or regenerating resets that flag. Flowers will not infer or suggest a diagnosis — it records only what the clinician has stated. It's a documentation tool, deliberately not a clinical-decision-support one.
No vendor holds the records
Session audio and notes never leave the student's machine, so there's no third party to vet, no BAA to negotiate, and no cloud account that could outlive the placement. Read the security overview →
You still review the work
Flowers doesn't create a supervision channel and doesn't send you anything automatically. Your supervisee shares notes with you the same way they do now — deliberately, and on your terms.
Hour logs you can actually check
The hours ledger is exportable, itemized by category, and computed against the board's caps rather than the student's arithmetic. If you sign off on hours, that's one less thing to reconstruct at the end of a term.
